I used the Spirit as a quick mirror.  It's actually pretty useful for that :D  I guess that can be the equivalent of having a ruler on the outside of the Rebar or PST.  Something you may only occasionally use, but it is handy when you do :tu:

Out here in the bush on day 8, I find it easiest to keep the Juice CS4 out and on-hand in the truck at all the times.  A good part of the day is spent on the laptop in the truck managing correspondence between the the office and the field crews.  An aircard plugged into the laptop is a necessity, but with all the jostling around in the cab, a broken aircard is not a rare occurrence.  I tried a Belkin USB swivel joint for the aircard, but it caused an unacceptable loss of signal.  The solution turned out to be attaching the signal-booster plate antenna to both the aircard and the computer with velcro. The Juice scissors were ideal for that.

I was working in a nice garden today

As I was drinking coffee in the kitchen  ;) the cleaner asks to borrow a knife
Me; What do you want to cut?
Her; Don’t want to cut anything, just want to scrape something off a window sill
Me; I can lend you this (opening the bottle opener)
Her; That will do nicely ta
So off she goes with my Spartan

My Spartan was in rough shape when I picked it up a couple of years ago from a carboot sale, It was probably the first time I re-profiled a broken blade, the first wood scales I made for a SAK, the first knife I used my Lansky system on (to 17% on the main blade, very sharp)

Tis my EDC  :salute:

She comes back to the kitchen 2mins later…'The big blade is very sharp' she says as she drips blood on the kitchen floor   :dwts:

Do you have a plaster?

I shouldn’t laugh really  :-[

Got my little first aid kit from the car  :tu: (trying not to smile  >:D )

Also used the screwdriver to fix the latch on the shed door so it will stay shut
Everything’s adjustable

On the way to a Dr. appt. this morning, trimmed a few errant nose hairs with my Squirt S4 this morning, in the passenger's visor mirror in my wife's mini-van...  Grossed her out, but I hate having them sticking out of my nose... that looks even grosser!   :P

Couldn't agree more. I usually put the classic scissors to use for that though.  :tu:

I used a teeny hex bit and the scissors in my modified Kick to help replace the coil and steel mesh wick on my rebuildable electronic cigarette atomiser.

I used to come here a lot.

Been fighting with my gas grill for the past week. A flame channel broke off and when I went to fix it the other one broke. I used LocTite Stick 'n Seal Ultra to put the channels back on the brackets and I put them on upside down so I had to redo it. After I reinstalled them the channels weren't sitting high enough for the flame to route through and light the other burners. So, back to the ole drawing board. Finally got them installed properly today and it all works. We'll see for how long though. The MT action in all this? I used the Juice S2 for the phillips head screws and attempted to use the MUT to hold the nuts in place but no go, it was too large. The good old trusty PST came into play then. Here's some images.

Spirit got all sorts of use at work. All the manufacturing for my company is getting moved out of state, so all the equipment, etc has been getting ripped out of the factory floor. Well it turns out that all the ethernet and phone cable for the back half of the building was routed in/under/through a set of mezzanine that of course all had to be untangled TODAY. The scissors got the brunt of the abuse, which I used to cut about 2 million nylon zip ties securing ethernet all over the place. Pliers were used for connecting splice connectors to reassemble the cables to the security cameras that we wound up just hacking off to save time, Phillips was used to access some hard to get to screws inside a network junction box. Everything performed admirably. The scissors are noticeably dulled now, but such is the life of a multitool.

I used my Charge to fit a sort of outrigger thing to a pushchair, so now you can get three kids in/on it.

That's another one she owes me!
I used to come here a lot.

Had to take my desk doors off tonight for hinge repairs (the pins kept dropping out). The drivers on the Gerber Balance were perfect for the screws, the compound leverage of a Powerlock was perfect for closing up the loops on the hinge, and my Snail Brand roofing tool (combined axe, hammer and prybar) was used to persuade the pins back in the smaller loops.

I was considering selling the Powerlock, but that compound leverage has been proving too useful of late. Time to consider a killer loadout for it. Maybe I should lay another PST II down for slaughter to harvest the scissors and diamond file  >:D

Assembling one of these on the roof of a 75-story high-rise:

http://www.dcmerectors.com/cranes-derricks-tower-section-rental/35-ton-stiff-leg-derrick/

Used the Surge today to "hold the roll" on the retaining bolt of a  monster pin holding an 800 lb sheave block to the top of the derrick mast, because we only had one wrench.

I really like the file and scissors on my PST II.  Those two tools should still be used today on multitools imho :tu:
