Wife couldn't get some body lotion out of the round plastic bottlle it was in so she asked me to saw (!!) it open with the beater Vic Camper I have lying aroung. I used the saw to make the initial incision point just for the sake of it, then cheerfully snapped the large blade open and cut the thing in two. There was much lotion left in it but the main point is wife was impressed by how smoothly did the SAK cut through the bottle. She didn't say anything but I could just see it. That's the third point SAKs scored on her this month

So, I leave all the knives in the house unsharpened except my SAKs/MTs... That way, I subliminally educate her that they are truly necessary if someone wants their job done Next step, I am going to place a Classic on her keys

But then, my wife does value the SAKs and MTs that we have. It is a clever way to go about it though, if that's an issue.
It isn't like that, it's more like Zen... I just leave the knives unsharpened and, naturally, the point is proven by itself
