Although packing Skeletool, Crunch and Supertool 300, it was all about the ST300 today.

I spray painted a tool I made yesterday. When changing paint bottles, the dip tube fell in a full bottle and I used the ST300 pliers to get in the narrow mouth and rescue the dip tube. I also used it to peel a lid off a new bottle of air tool oil.

Got a call later in the day; machinist crashed CNC machine, broken tooling. I went to assess and used ST300 pliers to remove razor-sharp metal shavings after determining we would have to remove the tooling and bring it back to the shop. The tooling was old, and not doweled in place, so I used the ST300 awl to scribe the X/Y footprint before removal.

Back in the shop, I used ST300 awl to "pop" the quick disconnect fitting to bleed off residual hydraulic pressure and then used the pliers to disassemble some of the broken pieces.

Yeah, 3 MT's on my person for the last couple weeks. There is something wrong with me. And it all started happening when I began hanging around YOU GUYS.

If Leatherman just would have released the Surge on time, I never would have wandered into this MT continuum, and carrying a Wave AND a Surge..... Well that would just be silly, right?  ::)

I think that's pretty silly carrying a Wave and a Surge. That would be like carrying a ST300 and a Rebar.

Not silly at all. I carry a cresent wrench and a multi. Some carry a sak and a multi. Some carry two saks or two multis. If it works for them, then cool beans!

I guess I should be clear, I still haven't bought the Surge, since it just came out and I already spent my birthday money on the Skeletool, Crunch and ST300.

But no, I don't think I would carry a Wave and Surge at the same time; they are too alike.

But a Crunch, Skeletool and ST300 all bring something unique to the table.

Pants Check: Yep, still got em!  :tu:

My wife needed to cut a middle section out of an ornament she made.  So after using the utility blade on my Mechaneer, she asked if I had a file.  I gave her my new SOG PPP with the file deployed so she could do what she needed to do.

Pirahana pried the staples out of heavy duty cardboard boxes, and the Rebar helped put shelves into the cabinets that had been in those boxes. My Compact had an odd day in that all it did was keep my flashlight and wallet company.

Apparently it's also good for cutting down "some great vine", but I'm unsure how it performs when confronted with a lesser vine.  Maybe we should get Cupboard to do another one of his excellent cutting tests ?  ???   ;)

I used the can opener tip to unscrew the cover to our bathroom light since the bulb blew.  Also used the Spirit's chisel to scrape some stuck on food from a baking sheet.  Worked really well, but also scraped up the baking sheet as well :P

Lmao.
We have a vine around here that is called "great" vine. I am not sure what its real name is but its what everyone around here calls it.

Yesterday I used the pliers of my LM Mini Tool to pull little stones out of the profile of my Magnum boots so that I don´t scratch the parquet of my parents-in-law.  :)
