It was a Buck 110 day for me today.

It's been far too long since a 110 rode in my pocket, and a real pleasure to carry one today.   :tu:

@Nix, that is a stunning 110, what is the scales made of?

The white just made me feel good gazing upon it, can only imagine how tall you walked with it available if needed!!!

Thanks, guys. It is a favorite of mine.

@LC: the scales are Elk. Buck uses Elk antler collected, from Yellowstone National Park, by the Boy Scouts. Any scraps they don't use get recycled. I really like that.  :tu:

Well here in England our gun laws are really tight but it’s fairly easy with a license to own a shot gun. Shooting in the country is still popular but on the whole hunting wild game/food isn’t . So you end up with lots of well off gentry who want to go shooting but don’t want to get their hands dirty actually preparing the things they’ve shot for the table. So at the end of a shoot there’s loads of birds left over that they literally bury 😮 I’ve found a lovely older gentleman who’s son works on a farm and is involved with the pheasant shoots. So he can get loads of birds for me all freshly shot that no one wants except me and my Buck 110

Waste not and enjoy while in season.

Here the open spaces are not available as when I was younger. Rabbit and pheasant were to after school chores that I enjoyed with my Beagles plus put meat on the table for the family.

That's excellent, Dunc!

A real shame to kill something one doesn't intend to eat. Glad you can make use of some pheasant.

The top Buck is the size of the original Buck 110 Hunter when it was first made in 1963.The Buck below is the second generation made from 1972-85.

The second picture are the two knives in reverse positions.
