Went in for one thing, and came out with something quite different.

I went to the local gun/archery shop to inquire about more Leatherman MTs, when one of the employees showed me this cute little knife. She demonstrated it and I just knew I had to have one right there and then. So although I was told the Leatherman 300s are going to take some time to come in, I still didn't leave empty handed.

Photography time...

Oddly enough, she called it a CKRT cricket, even went online to show me some more info but couldn't find any...well that is because it isn't a cricket but a CRKT Kommer Fulcrum model 7404. It is even written on the blade. I didn't care what she called it, I knew it was mine as soon as she demoed it.

The knife opens ingeniously one handed. You push down and then up on one side of the handle. The push down opens the blade half way. Pushing up opens the blade fully. This sold me on this one.

A little Leatherman information.

  • I just don't know what went wrong.
I've wanted one since they released information on them last year, but I'm just too poor. Nuts to you, Chako, nuts to you!
Got those frog legs.

Nice buy, Chako!
This is called a Swiss Army Knife. Do you know what Switzerland is? Switzerland is a place where they don't like to fight, so they get people to do their fighting for them while they ski and eat chocolate. - Larry David
