That's all I got. James to Dan seems like a much better route then James to Def to Dan. That is just over half the distance if you plug it into Google Maps. From 4000+ km, to 2500km. Mind you it doesn't matter as the post office is handling that part.

Shane's right, it would make better sense to do that.  It might even cut down on shipping time which is always good.  :tu:

New York to Toronto is shorter than New York to Halifax, but overall this is shorter I think  :tu:

I think Def should switch spots with me.  This way, we can move from east to west in one smooth direction.

Looks good to me. Don't know the states part well, but the rest works.

If it is a Knifeless Fuse, we should get some of them pesky Brits in on this too. Make the scrapbook that much more interesting.

I don't have a knifeless fuse as they are near impossible to get where I am, unless I order one, and the funds simply do no allow it at this point.  I was planning om sending a regular fuse, and the only other tool I have that doesn't lock is a kick, and that no really all that interesting.  So, I guess if someone else wants to part with a knifeless fuse for the passaround (keep in mind I was also planning on doing a giveaway at the end) then I am all ears, or possibly other suggestions.

Also what about the idea on an online scrapbook.  We could sticky a thread in there, and everyone post some pics to it along with what they did with the tool.  Makes it a lot easier to keep up with, and if the tool does get lost then we still have the writeups on here for posterity, and makes the tool easier to ship.  Just a thought just adding what we did on a camera forum I belong to, but then again we were also passing around a cheaper digital camera, in case people were still using film.

Is it really such a risk sending a Fuse too the UK , surely it would only be a problem if the tool holder went out of their way too be a dickhead in front of a policeman  . Didn't Dunc buy a LM Wave from a shop , so blade locking MT's can be bought in the UK.

If the Fuse gets confiscated in the UK I am happy to sub my Fuse into the field of play.  :tu: :tu:

BTW Zack congrats on trading your life in buddy  :tu: :tu: :tu:

I like that online scrapbook idea a lot. As for the Fuse, didn't know. Makes its world travel a little short, but I can't complain.

And congrats on having no life :D

1 thing, if all the active participants, or a least most of them, ponied up a few bucks we could buy a knifeless Fuse. I'd be more than happy to contribute. I'd really like to ship a tool that wouldn't get anyone in trouble. Just a suggestion.

Edited to add, here's a black knifeless Fuse on evilbay for $47.95 shipped.

Hi,

The SKU # 830266 is for a black oxide Fuse with a knife blade, not a knifeless Fuse.  I've sent the seller a question regarding whether this is really knifeless (eg, has a file instead).  This person is the second dealer advertising this incorrectly.  Yes, I got stung with the first one but eventually got it sorted.

Best - Joe
