Ok, so now I am thinking about maybe a SAK of some sort and having Tinnie make some custom scales for it or a Kick to keep everything legal for everyone.  Really want to get this rolling this week.

Ok, I plan on shipping this out to Spoonrobot out on Monday, so if you are no longer interested in the passaround then let me know.  The tool will be a regular Fuse unless someone else has something else they would like to donate to the cause.

Do you have a finalized list of who's participating?

Ok, UK members get a pointy stick to passaround...just kidding guys, we'll figure it out. :D

Hey guys, I just read this thread, and can confirm that there would be no problem sending a Fuse or any other Leatherman tool to the UK. The knife laws here only prevent carrying a locking blade in a public place without a legitimate reason. The tools aren't illegal to own.

I can't say why noone else from the UK has signed up for the pass around, but in my case, I already have a Fuse, and I know that several others do too. It's probably just as simple as that!

I used to come here a lot.

Thats what I figured, but that was the only tool I didn't care about if it got lost or damaged.

So this list then?

Looks good to me!

Frankly I don't need a "blade", locking, spring-loaded, double-edged, assualt, tactical, or otherwise.

I don't think a multitool is really where the blade needs to be, since a sharp edge is so important I'm willing to devote a whole section on my ample belly-belt just for that tool.

But I'm not the one providing the passaround, so I oughta keep my fat trap shut.  All I'm saying is I can't wait to participate, but I'd hate the thing to go to waste fighting some pedantic law in some foreign land.

I don't know from "knifeless" Fuse, but it sounds great from here.  I'm willing to chip in a few bucks beyond postage to get an item that's kosher everywhere.

Just a thought.  Let's do this and not lose momentum because of sheeple politics.

best-

-steve

Ok So we can passaround the Fuse or a Wenger Tradesman.  The Tradesmen is pretty cool in that it has slip jointed pliers, but I will leave it to a vote...majority wins. I will start a new thread with a poll.
