A couple of nights ago my eldest, Ella, was sick in the early hours of the morning and continued throughout the night.  As I had to be up for work at 5.30am Sue did the honours and did the "night shift" with Ella who is actually very good and knows what to do when she is ill and where to throw up.

Well now it's my son's turn.  ::)  Trouble is he has no concept of being sick and just throws up everywhere.  A perfect example was 20 mins ago when he threw up in my lap.  ::)

So guess who's copped night shift tonight then?  :D  Looks like I'm going to be on here till very late.  Good job I have a load of coffee to keep me going.  :tu:
I'm back!!

It never ceases to amaze me the volume of vomit that fits into a little kid or the force at which it is expelled  :o :o :o

Hope the kids come good soon Ben & I REALLY hope that Mum & Dad do not get it as well.

So who will get to manage the new little one when he shows up?  There are only two of you- you'll be outnumbered!

A few weeks ago I had a nasty stomach bug and threw up all over the doctor's office- does that count for anything?  :D

It is now 1.45am and I have just gone up to my daughter who was saying she was itchy.  I pulled back the covers and she has large patches of rash like spots on her arms and legs.  It could be chicken pox which will just add a huge amount of aggro and complications to Sue and her pregnancy, or it could be something else completely.  Waiting for the call back from the NHS advisor now.

I think I'll give up trying to go to sleep...

Well finally everything settled at around 4am and I actually got some sleep.  My son woke up at 7am and actually looks pretty good today and it running around playing as we speak - typical!  ::) :D

The rash on my daughter (thanks for all the PM's last night Whippy) is looking more like she has suffered an allergic reaction, or is showing a rash following her illness a couple of days ago.  It certainly isn't looking like chicken pox to me.

All in all, all is good.  :tu:
