Any of those are the laminated carbon steel? I've always wanted to try one since they are so cheap but not sure if I want to deal with the maintenance of high carbon steel.

I might put some "tacky" on part of the handle though just for a bit of grip.
My most recent one, a pressie from Neil at the meet-up. (Image removed from quote.)
Someone said they make good food / kitchen knives - any thoughts on that?

Regular knives don't work well because they just lack the blade offset to clear knuckles against cutting board.
I really should invest in a Mora one day soon.
