Just wanted to let everyone about another excellent CS story about SOG, I recieved a Switchplier not too long ago from a member here on the forum and it didn't come with a sheath (everything else though....a must for someone who collects). After a quick e-mail to them I recieved a sheath for my tool even though they knew the tool was not originally mine, I know...makes you do a double take? Sheaths are never under repair agreement, and this is a new one on me. That is customer service in a nutshell, how many companies would give you a replacement sheath rather than charging you? Not many, course as you notice, there is a shift in CS trends....they are backing up thier customers as much as thier products, makes you feel good.

Yup- they have to nowadays. Looking after customers, or not, will make or break a company faster than their products will these days. Good to hear that SOG is looking after others as well as they've looked after me!

I like to hear those sort of stories about a company. I've never had any kind of warranty issues with SOG, but it gives me confidence to know they will be there for me if I ever need them.
In order to be certain of having the right tool for every job.........one must first acquire a lot of tools

I also haven't had any warranty issues with them but I have had a few dealings there and I always come away from it pretty pleased. Of course that might have something to do with me using my website to promote their products at no cost or obligation to them, but hey, I take what I can get!

I sure can not find much online about anyone having trouble with the SOG tool.
What little I can find seems to be all good stuff, like the sheath.
That's great to hear!
