those are right handy utility knives!  :tu:  I have one for the garage and one to use at work

Congrats Chako!  You have an original SuperKnife design with the screw that holds the blade in place.  The original was eventually upgraded with a push down thumbstud lock mechanism.  The newer SuperKnife 2 (SK2) design uses a thumbwheel stud that locks the blade in place. 

My original SuperKnife was probably my most carried, most used and most loved knife.  I had the original but later  upgraded to the pushdown thumbstud version.  I still carry it wherever I go.

cool! a really nice guy that used to post here "Kreskin" (Calvin) collected utility knives/blades and posted pix of his collection,
I bet he'd luv it :salute:
judge others by how they treat those they are allowed to mistreat

I just checked the patent # on my Stanley,and it is the same one that is on Chako's super knife #6354007, my handle is black anodized alum.
