After looking around this site its not what you could call a modification
but...
I stripped the knife down, very easily
Using a belt sander and some sandpaper I rubbed down all the edges
The scales are now drying in the garage after having a coat of Danish oil applied
fingers crossed now! :tu:

Hope so!
When I got it the knife didn't feel good in my hand,
If it was to get a lot of use it would be uncomfortable
so I thought it will be quick an easy to fix ....

just got to wait a couple of hours now :ahhh

Magnus
It works like a cut throat razor
Its quite primitive the blade is loosely held between the two scales
when it has opened your hand holds it open
Not sure if that makes sense?
It takes some getting used to

I was too slow....What he said

Yeah to be to the letter of the law it needs a bit of a trim.  No biggie though.

I still carry and use mine (ta Mike ;) ) but I've stopped pocket carrying it after a couple of premature deployments  :-[

Mine has the plastic scales.  I did think about making some wood ones but to be honest I'm pretty happy with the plastic.
I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

That's a bit worrying! :o

Here it is,
I'm not completely happy with the finish but I'm impatient and wanted to get it
back together ASAP,
I also thought as its only held together by a couple of screws there's no problem
in redoing it in the future

It feels a lot better in my hand now,  :tu:
Now I need to get used to opening it

Thanks Guys, :tu:

I think (when I get around to it) I will put a spacer between the scales
on the rear screw and also a drop of 'thread lock'
That will make it easier to open and close ::)

I'm in two minds now  :ahhh cos I'm thinking about making the blade ¼ of an inch shorter,
and a bit worried about buggering it up,  :twak:

I have added a spacer, I used a washer and it works great!  :tu:
