If you could have seen me, I almost drooled when I saw that thing!!  I love multitool innovation.  I just couldn't really think of a more coherent way to say it!

I really like the apparent combination of the pliers on the Supertool 300 and the carabiner/body design of the skeletool series.  Not too sure about the carbide scraper or the cleaning rod adapters, as I'm not a heavy AR-15 user, but I can definitely see the advantage of the Bolt Override tool, that thing could save lives.

Is that in their new military section?  :tu:

If it's not due until September how come the PS4, Style, etc. aren't on?  They are for due release in May :D

Yeah, it makes me wonder if the release date hasn't been moved up if they are posting it on their website.

I want one too , having a hard time waiting . I don't own an AR , but I can see the hammer/linecutter pommel thingy being very handy . I have a good Buddy who owns a Tavour , who has a birthday in Aug . I for one would be pleased if the release got pushed ahead .

^I'm in.

What percentage of the buying public own an AR-15 ? .0001% maybe? Yet how many people have ever had need for a hammer? like 99%?

I think it would sell like gangbusters.

Got an EOD MUT at an OK price , first impression very positive . The C4 punch is basically an awl - always usefull , the scraper looks quite handy , wouldn't mind a steel version . The M4 specific qualities don't seem too much of a downside .

I like the hammer pommel , the clip is great . The MOLLE pouch is good quality . I don't mind the wrench at all . Pliers look like they will serve well . Fit and finish is good , good solid feeling tool . The bit holder feels solid , better than those on the charge and Skeletool . The long bits are very usefull . The line cutter does what it says on the tin .

I've ordered another one for a buddy who shoots black rifles .

Overall impression , a Skeletool on roids , with a dash of testosterone mixed in ! A usefull cross between a Multi and a Tac. folder .

I hope to see further developement of this rather neat concept .

Chris

Ordered mine last week. Only not too much reviews to be found on the net to compare....I have a Glock 17 so some features will come in handy. Will post more when I get it and used it.

Only want a skeletool CX  to complete the gap, got a style CS, the MUT is to big I guess for Every day use

Yep, The MUT is indeed pretty big for every day use, I use a Skeletool CX as EDC tool and I use the MUT when I'm going to do an outdoor activity, like camping or hiking in the woods.  They are both great looking tools, I often have them lying around my computer or next to my favorit easy chair, so I can pick them up just to look at them and .

Greetings,

Top-Gear-24

I have been EDCing the MUT since I got it about three weeks ago . Prior to that I was either carrying a Spirit or a Wave , plus a driver , plus a folder . The MUT has actually lightened my total load out .

Interesting... Don't you mis any of the funtions the wave/spirit has over the mut? And is that blade of the mut so much better that on the wave/spirit that you don't carry an extra folder anymore?

Not to date , but then everyone's tool use is unique . It even cuts my work load out , used to carry a sawn off 4oz. ball pien hammer in the back pocket for setting anchors etc , the MUT dose that type of work just fine . My Spirit is now relegated to my daypack , the Wave sits sadly in the gun cabinet .

The MUT also replaces the closed ASP I used to carry on some of my nastier service calls .
