Hmm, question: suggest to SOG to make an optional handle that can be slipped into the hole and slots on the Eat'N Tool, a bit like the Funny Folder by AG Russell: http://www.agrussell.com/ag-russell-funny-folder-aluminum-and-aus-8/p/RUShhhFF3AL/ All that would have to be done are a couple extended pieces that fit the holes, swivel around the bottom plate to allow access and then back to close off the holes to keep the tool in place and able to be used as a true spork.I dunno, maybe too complicated?
Bear claw! BEAR CLAW!Oh, did you guys get to play with the Ta-Bar?
Prying and such looks to me as an accident waiting to happen with that sharp edge at the end. Or am I overlooking something here
I already can see me with that beauty in my hand!in the left and, soaked in blood, after I gave too much torque and the bit slipped out of the hex hole.
All these new CRKT toys are on preorder on knifecenter.com And they are CHEAPER THAN DIRT! Great prices CRKT!
Our Eat’N Tool is the brainchild of New York City designer Liong Mah. At first glance it looks like the familiar spoon/fork “spork” combination, but Liong has used his ingenuity and computer-aided design skills to create a lightweight, high-tech outdoor tool.

Yup. Just stick your finger in the hole....and it's a defensive weapon. ever been sporked to death. It's actually comfortable enough, but if you hit the guy in the face wrong you might bust a finger.

The guys at CRKT are always coming up with some weird designs. For example, this knife's handle is made completely from a single piece of sheet metal, including the lock!(Image removed from quote.)It's an amazing piece, but I have to wonder just what the hell they put in the water over there, or what kinds of "spices" the folks in the CRKT Cafateria are using!(Image removed from quote.)Next thing you know, they are going to be making knives like this!(Image removed from quote.)Def
There are just two well-thoughtout pieces, plus a blade pivot screw.

Yes, it is another piece and the screw to hold it in is yet another! When talking to the designer, he mentioned that he'd planned to actually fit the pocket clip into the design, by adding a long strip of metal to the end of the handle and folding it over, but for some reason (I can't remember why) they went with the screwed on version. If Bob doesn't remember why they went this route I'll check with the designer again and see if I can convince him to repeat it! Def
