Looks like Benchmade redesigned the River Rescue



Plus added a Folder!!!



I own the old Benchmade River Rescue and like it alot, and am glad they are offereing a folder as well.

What do you guys think?

Here's another shot of the fixed blade.  At first I didn't like the redesign, but it's kinda growing on me.  I don't think I'll get rid of my old one and upgrade though.  I will be getting the yellow handled folder though.

Interesting handles on both the folders and the fixed blades, kind of a different take on bi-directional texturing. Anyone know anything about N680 steel? I've used N690 before but can't find much on the N680 variety.

I'm still heavily anticipating the 111H2O but my excitement has been tempered by Benchmade's 2010 pricing system. But I guess it's just one of those things to deal with in the new year.
