It was made by Schrade and is a variant of the Tough Tool.https://wiki.multitool.org/tiki-index.php?page=SchradeI'm sure Bob will be along shortly to give you all the info you could ever want on it! Def
Yeah- when a company like Sears wants something like that they just buy someone else's and put their name on it rather than go to the effort of developing one of their own.Def
From what I learned on this forum in my short stay, the tool was produced in three variants with the Shrade branding. I found a great review on the forum about them and learned all I would want to know about them. I'll look around to see if I can find a link to the review.
Listing it on eBay? When there are a number of members here would would likely be interested in it? Def
It's probably in that link I posted above, which leads to the Multitool Encyclopedia, a Wikipedia kind of thing about multitools... Def
I guess it's just too bad that we don't have our own auction site available for this kind of thing..... Def
It is a Sears Craftsman version of the Schrade ST5. It's too large, heavy, and I didn't care for the modular screwdriver bits as much as dedicated blades (as found in the original LM tools). I posted another photo a few years ago then sold mine to another forum member.
it was produced around 98 to 2001. the tools marked schrade were produced longer. I have one but it is broken. I still carry it though because I love it. would you pm me the link, I can't find it on the bay. EDC source is real nice also. take a look at posting there.

Good luck on the auction!Let me think about that. I want to jump and say, "Yes," because it's Craftsman, and I'm a Craftsman fanboy, but I just blew $30 on a T-shirt and...well...you know...haven't gotten around to planting my money trees yet because of the cold snap here in the states. But am thinking.
You can end the Auction I believe.
hehe, I was just joking around. Didn't think you'd actually take me seriously. I'm not sure if I can do anything now that the auction is already listed...?
