Kuny's
on: March 27, 2010, 01:11:41 PM
A little Kuny's cell phone/tool holder has just arrived  :mail:
It seems very well made!
Now I have to decide what to put in it,
Its fun/annoying trying to decide what should be in there

That looks like a pretty good holder indeed.  As to what to put in it, I'd start with a torch, multi and a pen and take it from there. :tu:

Kuny's stuff is good quality in relation to price , if the have the layout you want go for it !

I have tried them , but never seem to find the exact configuration I want . Yiu certainlt can't beat them for price , you cant even buy the materials and sew it yourself for what they charge .

Chris,
Yes it was only 12quid on Amazon (posted about 15 miles from me )  :tu:

So far the only thing that I can decide on is I need to buy another cheap folder
and it must have a black handle  ;)

Thanks very much Paul! :tu:
But I have accidentally ordered a couple with black handles now  ::)
Also I am trying to get tools/knives with bigger handles as I find them easier to use/play with

Nothing wrong with that at all Tony :tu: I've got a standard PE steel handled one myself.  Great knife, especially considering the price. :)

Thanks guys
I was after a larger knife with a black handle cos I'm a tart)
It does feel a bit cheep and although the blade feels good to me the handle feels a bit light
But I'm pleased with it so far and it only cost around 10 quid so I'm happy!

If you like that sheepsfoot blade shape Tony, and want something that's UK legal EDC, I can heartily recommend the CRKT Edgie.  Also with having steel liners in the handle you'd never call it 'lightweight'.  Really has become my 'go too' pocket knife if I've a mind to use something other than a SAK.

http://www.multitool.org/knives/folding-knives/crkt-edgie.html

Available from Heinnie's for £23.

I too was tempted with that Byrd Cara Cara Rescue Knife but wasn't totally sold on the rescue blade  :-\

Definitely like the regular PE one though  :tu:

As usual I brought it without thinking too much
I saw the size, colour and plain edge and snapped it up
I will play with it for a while and see if I get used to it
But I'm liking it so far  :tu:

You never know I might have to rescue someone tomorrow
Here's hoping
