Can somebody give me the scoops on Felinevet?
on: April 21, 2010, 07:36:38 PM
I sent a message to him, but he's not online.

Basically, I wanted to know how to describe his efforts for cats, so I know what to tell some friends.  What goes to the feline effort from the sales?  I know he's a great guy and highly reliable w/great quality stuff, but thats about all I know.
Thanks!

He runs a charitable , non profit organization to help with emergency vetinary expenses for those who can't afford them . +1 for him , companion animal vetinary expenses can be a terrible worry for those on fixed incomes , laid off , etc .

Good for him !

Thanks for that!  Any idea what percentage of the profits goes to the cause?  I think its a wonderful venture and just want to be able to answer any questions that are asked of me.  Thanks!

ALL profits go to the charity, plus Tim also tosses in a healthy percentage of his own money too.  He's a retired hospital administrator who does this to keep himself busy, not to make a profit- or at least not a personal profit!

Awesome.  That is what I thought, but needed to be sure so I don't misrepresent.  Thanks all!

thumbs up for Tim!  Completely admire what he is doing!  Got 2 dogs and 4 cats myself.

This will sound like a broken record, but Tim's knives are the best used knives you can buy.  I have bought about 7 knives from him and all were in perfect condition, if a little lint-y.   ;)  Recommend him to everyone, he ships really fast too!!
