Looks good :tu:. I did a light green to dark green and left the knife in the dye too long, it came out almost black. Too embarrassed to post pics :ahhh

ah that's too bad it didn't turn the color you intended but you should post a pic of it I'm sure if
it's not totally black and you can capture it with a pic it would be pretty cool.  :tu:

DV my first Salt I I used at work to cut up rework which was mostly a coffee concentrate was turning brown so I soaked it in some stuff we use to clean with and it came out bright yellow again. I wonder if you soaked your knife in some sort of solvent if it would help.

Mat,
Dye is cheap, cheap but I'm running out of dye'able knives.  :D  Kawasaki green would be very nice.  :tu:

Isn't that green almost black color like the official state color of South Carolina?  They called it carolina green or something like that.

Do you have any problems at all with the die "bleeding " or wearing off ?

Chris,
Being totally new to this I can't answer that for sure, however this seems permanent and it's not
on the surface it's absorbed in so I'm hoping it won't fade or bleed.  I can soak it in water and
you don't get any color coming out.

Ben,
I think a nice toxic green like on the Spydie USN would be the green to see if you could match!
Look forward to seeing the results.  :tu:

Don't know I'm from New York :D It's almost black with a hint of green in sunlight. The frn needs to be scratched in order to get to the original color. It's a failure lesson learned for me in both dyeing the handles and coating the blade with Duracoat :o Still looks good though, I will try to scrub some of the color of the handles for a two tone finish. Too lazy to start a thread and crop all the pictures I took of the project.

Pimped it out a bit more and took the black coating off the titanium clip.
