The edge on this Umnum has been reprofiled to an even 34 degrees inclusive.The convex factory edge changed angles over the length of the blade, when touching it up on a Sharpmaker only the straight part of the edge could be sharpened; the belly was way to obtuse so only the shoulders touched the sticks.Of course reprofiling up to 30 degrees inclusive the Umnum would have been an even better cutter, but then the bevels would have become quite wide because of the thickness of the belly.And because it's still a tactical knife a little stronger edge fits the bill well.
