Since i only have a first generation Wicked Edge i used various grits of SiC wet & dry paper after the 100, 200, 400, and 600 grit diamond stones.
The last step was some no-name polishing compound rubbed on the backside of some used wet & dry paper.

Nowadays Wicked Edge does offer various types of diamond stropping paste as well as diamond sprays, so maybe i will try some of those on future sharpening projects.
Still want to do my own Spyderco CPM-M4 Military as well as a Zero Tolerance 0500.
Don't like their factory edges.

Do you do one side at a time with the Wicked Wdge or do you work both sides at the same time?  And how well does the clamp work? Does it secure the blade good?

With a WE you work both sides of the edge at the same time: one stroke right, then one stroke left, and so on.
The clamp holds most blade types very secure, but sometimes it takes some fiddling to clamp certain thicker full flat grinds, like Spyderco Military models.
But they can be done too.

I've seen the videos of the WE at work and seen how you work both sides at the same time but I think I wouldn't like that. I like to work one side at a time a feel for the burr to form. Then switch sides. I think that the WE would confuse me.

Working two sides simultaneously offers two advantages; the sharpening process itself goes faster because you eliminate turning the blade over constantly & the chance that you create the new edge exactly in the middle of the blade increases. (watching the whole process from above also helps with that)
And especially this second part is important when you want to touch up that new edge later on for instance a Spyderco Sharpmaker.
