I'd say that was likely.

Many of Victorinox's knives come in various box/package styles, in fact if you're a big buyer you can actually specify what style packaging you want the SAKs to come in.

Its just like the classics, they too were made available in plain packages but with the same exact knife etching and all.

There are other listings by different sellers of the anniversary knife that show that style box. Some with the blade showing too.

Still the best price I have found for this knife. Wish my budget would allow me to grab it.
