Has anyone bought from this site?

They have some nice looking knives, perhaps the quality is not the best but I'm sure they could take a beating

For the money you can get much better options (the Mora for example).  Maybe I am being a bit snobbish but I wouldn't spend my money on any of those.

Paul, a "proper" kukri can be had for as little as £40 and it'll last a lifetime.  These knives are cheap for a reason and you get what you pay for.

I won't speak to the quality of any of the knives you've looking at, but I will say I know a couple of guys who have ordered from the site and had there stuff arrive with no problems at all.  

Tony I'm not sure I'd want one that is pre-rusted, but the Martindale Golok has a pretty good reputation.  Might be worth a look around for a good-un as that price doesn't seem to be much less than the going rate.

No offence guy's but there's no way I'd buy/use something so obviously cheap and nasty and probably unsafe when there are much better knives available for close to that money

If you want a cheap, small utility knife get a Mora, or a Martini, Karasundo for a few more quid

Or for a chopper, get a Kukri for £40 or a Golok for about half that

I think the other thing that always lets some of this stuff down is the sheaths, very poorly made, i cant belive that black kukri is gone, looked kind of cool, but not as good as the real thing i bet,

I have to also agree with what others have said most of these knives,swords will most likely bend at the sight of wood   and if your lucky to get one to contact the wood, it would most likely wrap around it like string and remain there forever

tora blades has some lovely stuff john but out of some of the cheaper kukris at the moment, i cant spend a fortune as its more a thing to look at than use, im still gutted i didnt get that one from the car boot sale a few weeks back, for £5 even in the state it was in i should of grabbed it  im a smurf

Any recommendations for this type of knife shape?

IIRC Ben has a LTC cold steel kukri not made anymore but they were awesome,around £200 I think but i'm not sure

I've got an original Cold Steel Carbon V Gurkha Kukri, and it's by far and away the single best knife I've ever held, used or seen imo
