UK Meetup V3 Highlights

Dudes and dudesses,

What were you best bits/highlights of the latest meetup?

For me it was once again seeing the (soon to be mine) throwing axes that (for now) belong to the great hairy haggis we know as Gareth.

(Thanks for leaving them in your will to me)

Oh and it was also sort of OK seeing the UK gang again........

Been back awhile now but had to sort out clean,oil and put away my kukri perhaps for another year

Had a great time meeting you all and I have to say your the best bunch of people one would wish to meet 

Right now on to the best bits  handling the Rambo knife was awesome,that thing could chop a car in half SERIOUSLY! thanks for bringing that Flashback  oh! and thanks also for the freebie 

To sum it up the meet was a huge success and an opportunity to look/handle some of the best tools/knives out there Dave and Neil are a tough act to follow and can make it painfully envious when their draws were opened  that's not to say anyone else didn't have fine collections/user tools and knives,they did! thanks for hauling it all there guy's 


So many highlights to mention so I'll leave room for other to give their feedback on the event

Actually, when Dave paid the site owner, he didn't mention anything about our late night pryomaniac activities, or nearly blinding everyone with a laser... we might be allowed! 


We got back a little while ago and had some take out but I still have a mighty hangover and the heat is killing me - thoroughly enjoyed the weekend though. Great to see the chaps as ever

C'mon lets see the pics    I'm glad you all had a good time. I spent Saturday working

For me there were many highlights; a great group of peeps - thanks all, Dave's Buck 110 (yummy!!), Chrissy's Case, Nick's leatherwork, Mike's kukri, a stunning fixed blade which was brought along today  , Chris's tent, Sparkies CRKT folder (which was really surprising), Gareth's sword, simply the best veg stew I have ever had (Thanks Hedgekid!) and John's Laser.  But nothing compared to the lump of gorgeousness that was Nick Neil's MOP Champion.  That thing was just all things lovely.    Neils a good guy though as he said he was going to send it to me next week

There we're some bloody fine tool's alright, but the highlight for me was a chance to meet some new faces, sample some stonking cooking, and to catch up with people I've come to regard as old friends

Oh,and not putting a hatchet through my knee was a bit special

But they all kept the distance for some reason

On the plus side, there was a fit lass in a green bikini in the next tent over
