Hello all  can some one lay out for me the  whats what on these knives  folding fixed  i got mt=multitool  then may be i can get started.  thanks

Hi KLRJEEP - welcome to the forum :cheers:

We use a fair bit of jargon around here, don't be frightened to ask and I'm sure someone will help you out.

Folding / fixed when talking about knives would refer to the blade - e.g.: these are folders:



... whereas this is a fixed blade:



I used to come here a lot.

SAK's = Swiss Army Knives



Alox SAK = Swiss Army Knife with an Alox scale [handle]



CAK = Chinese Army Knife, in other words fake  :twak:



Took me ages to get the hang of them all but I think I've got most now :D
