Currently I have no multi tools,SAK's (the two I have are in bits,awaiting re-build) and TBH I have not used a knife recently

plus I won a similar contest awhile back and graciously decided not to use old photo's but today I had to write out the weekly budget for the coming week SO! I present you with the SAK pen

well what else could I use it for

Looking at that outlay for the coming week it seems I'm bottom of the ~~food chain~~ list

My thoughts on that are,at least I'm listed

have a few great CRKT knives but they couldn't go on this trip - i needed to carryon my camping backpack (note to the wise: tent poles AND stakes are allowed carryon by TSA!!). i bought a little gerber in an ace hardware and this baby did EVERYTHING this trip (including faux-defend my girlfriend from a large, but incredibly unaggressive, brown bear in northern california). here's it doing my favorite thing - a light dinner:

Thanks a lot for this contest!

I worked in the garden the whole day and used my farmer a lot. I harvested the first tomato of the year and ate it. Again I used the farmer to cut it in pieces and to peel off the hard skin. It tasted really wonderful

Put my new PS4 to use today to make a mini lanyard for it. The little scissors are just right for cutting up accessory cord, which is far smaller than paracord.

And here it is dressed in it's new, very small fob
