Old Buck 112 with a rounded body?
on: July 20, 2010, 04:46:32 PM
Hey all,
Came across an old Buck 112 that has a rounded body instead of the squarish type you see in newer ones.  Any ideas how old?  Any info?

That's one I haven't seen before.  Do you have a membership on Blade Forums?  If you post
those pic's asking about it under the Buck section you will receive some info for sure.  :)

Where did you get it?

My uncle gave me a bunch of old stuff of his when we were in CA.  His sewer broke so they gotta dig up his garage and so I helped he clean it out some and he gave me a few boxes of stuff (he knows I love knives) and this was in it!

I'll go ask in the bladeforums for more info thanks!

I have seen customized work some folks do by grinding and sanding the rough edges off of there lock backs to produce an effect like this. Not sure but it could be.

Have you asked your uncle who gave it to you?

He got a lot of stuff when his dad passed away.  Has no idea what much of it is.

I don't recall the source of this Buck date code chart.
