But look at the Colorful Enunciationing price! Just not funny
Is FFG the G10 scales? If so, then no. The FRN version is just a new cheaper option with several colours and blade types available.

Actually the slipits are about as safe as you can get to ship in. They cannot fit into any of the banned items.
Quote from: Benner on July 28, 2010, 06:25:52 PMActually the slipits are about as safe as you can get to ship in. They cannot fit into any of the banned items.Yet two have been seized as Gravity knives by Mount Pleasant customs
And then returned may I add (unless there have been more). In order for it to be a gravity knife it has to lock. Even they can't argue that one.
I once read a thread on some other forum that a Brit had wrote, basically he got his UKPK confiscated because the officer said that because it clicked into place (like every other slippie on earth) it locked and so he took it. Colorful Enunciationed up man.

Colorful Enunciationed up man. That was a few years back and is found with a quick search on the uk blade forums, I believe the officer who confiscated it chose to seize it as an offensive weapon not as a locking blade as it was carried by a doorman on duty. The full thread is worth a read but it does get out of hand so have a pinch of salt ready.clicky

I personally don't put up with the nonsense however to challenge the seizure in court we are quoted upward from £1,500 in costs, most go down asking for restoration route "free" but is unlikely to be successful anyway,so put simply we're shafted what ever we do.
