Got my new Executive today; I really like it.  The size difference from the Rambler is significant, but it still carries quite nicely on the keychain.  The blade and file are excellent; I like them much better than those on the Rambler.  The small blade on the Exec is the same size as the blade on the Rambler.  Frankly, I'd rather have the phillips driver/cap lifter combo tool instead, but so far I'm happy with it.  It feels much more comfortable in the hand than the Rambler and the tools are much easier to open and use.  The scissors aren't that much bigger, but I did notice a difference when using them to open a pack of peanut M&M's today...  the spring could be stronger.  Also haven't had a chance to try the file tip on a phillips screw yet, so I'll wait to pass judgment on that one.  Overall, a very nice little tool.
The first Noble Truth: life is suffering.  Only by accepting that fact can we transcend it.

I've seen a couple of those SAKs (vintage red alox, with box) for sale recently... very nice!!!

BTW my latest is a Michel Jordi Spartan (black) with red pouch.

This unused very rare Master Crafsman from the Dutch Royal Airforce.(KLU)
This was part of the survival kit from the dutch airforce pilots.
'KLU eigendom' means 'RAF property'.

That's funny;  I just bought an original solo, "just because of the box" it's the original model and the box is near perfect and marked with the original model number "2200". I posted an image to the wiki on the weekend.

I personally would not, but I just cought the ALOX bug so I want all the ALOX I can get. Im sure I will find something else that will catch my eye and ALOX will be put on the back burner for a while.

Well I Love My SAK's And I Like Alox, But I'm Also Looking For A Good User Knife. One With Good Blade Steel And All The Goodies Lol.

But I'm Not Sure. I Do Have A Kershaw Rake Composite Blem Coming To Me Here Shortly.

If I'm Not Into It I Could Trade It For Another Folder.

So I May Just Do That If It's Not My Cup Of Tea. Though It'd Be Nice To Get Some More Folders Built Up As Well.  :tu:

I Guess I'll Decide.

Lets not forget about the third Swiss arms manufacturer. There are a few examples of their work still floating around and it is really good.  Have a peek at the picture below.
