Two new arrivals today:
a soldier from 1991 and a Fireman with OD-scales and the DE-GM 9305297 marking.
Is this Fireman military issue (and for wich country/army) or just made after military specs ?

It's that time of the year when the retailer whom I get my SAK's throw off a special sale:

I bought a Deluxe Tinker....

and got an Outrider for free!!!

Just won another addition for my collection of SAK's with US military/government logo's on the eBay: a Classic with the flag of the Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and on the other side of the knife a signature of the Vice Chairman in question. Based on the pictures it doesn't appear to be in mint condition, some damage on the flag it seems, but since i've never seen one of those i'm happy anyway!  :salute:

Here's an interesting Vic done for Basel World, a large annual watch and jewelry show in Switzerland.

It's a Classic INOX. Instead of the normal nail file, it features a special tool for removing the watch band off of the Victorinox I.N.O.X. watches. It also includes topo maps for Ibach and Basel on the handles.

Thanks.

Awesome maybe (certainly my first of that model). Useful? Since I don't have an INOX watch...

I could have used it back when I was swapping out multiple watch bands...looks like it would fit many springbars. I finally had to order a tool off Amazon.

I have a tool purchased off Amazon as well.  It has a two pronged end similar to the tool shown on one end, and a point on the other end.  A SAK with a pin would cover the pointy end, but I haven't seen anything else to cover the two pronged thingamajig.  It sits in a drawer until I need to change a watch band, which is maybe once per year.

About once every two years I haul my old Seiko down to the watch shop and have him put in a new battery and install a new leather watch band. So never had a need for something like that.

Do have an INOX knife.

I was happy in my little 84mm world, but now I have joined the forum and find myself looking at the big guys.  I have been corrupted.  Shame on you guys......

Visited the P.O. Box (Post Office won't deliver out here) and the SAK Fairy was indeed good to me.  From the top, right side:  Old Victoria Camper with triangular reamer and no frills, Cadet II Plus, older 91mm Woodsman (old Huntsman without the long nail file).  On the left, Workchamp with olive drab scales, no shield and then an early 91mm Champion new in the box (146fmaU).  Has the long nail file, forgot to open it.

So an early Christmas and things are getting larger.   :climber:

Found this one can anybody tell me if it is original? I seriously doubt it to shinny metal, but could be ... What is this any idea?!?!?
