I've never owned a camping scales SAK, so as they're being discontinued I thought I'd best get in on the act...

The first SAK bought with my own money was a black Tinker. Good choice! :like:

You know what, and I’m ashamed to say to say it, I don’t think I’ve ever bought my own SAK,, I got my first at 12 and that was my pride and joy, I hit 18 and went into my Gerber faze due to work, then bought the older kids first SAK when I was 33, then the younger kids first when I was 37, yet got a free one in the mix up, all others were basically Xmas and bday gifts, no, I had the Mrs order me a cadet, cause I was so interested in the alox type scale, I had her order it because she did all the online stuff and still does, come to think of it all the parts were via “ordered” for my custom, along with I think a few others, but still, I’ve actually never walked up and bought one,

It was fun. Usually get mine on the internets but seeing them in person is cool.

They had some good models available (Huntsman, Camper, Cadet) but I was interested in something small enough to just drop in the pocket.

Oh I bet! 95% of our stuff is ordered online, heck the other day we ordered our groceries all so a friend could drive me to pick up our order today.. it’s nuts..

Having missed out on the original release of the replica 1897 last year due to be being a bit skint at the time, I finally ordered one off the Vic UK website on Saturday not least because it’s £90 cheaper there than in Vic’s own store in London (what on earth!) and it arrived today - as others have said it really is a stunning piece and only the lack of a bottle opener (alright, not wanting to scratch it!) will stop me pocketing it as an EDC! If you can afford one, I’d recommend it, it doesn’t disappoint in terms of quality!

I'm sure that'll change in time.

My limited research and proficiency with German have led me to believe it may be an electronics school.

Far and away my most carried and used SAK lately.

Always on my keychain and always handy having nail clippers and the file/nail cleaner.

Don’t hate that it has some scissors also. Some of my favorite MTs don’t have scissors but that’s not an issue if I have the Nailclip in my pocket also.

Received my Swisschamp from Amazon today.

Very cool.

I also recently received a SC to replace the one that disappeared. Added some micarta and a bit of 225 cord to help pull it out of the Skinth I’ll carry it in next month.

Picked up a Walker because I’d read they were being discontinued and I just happened to see one in stock in my local Sail sporting goods store.

Not sure if this counts as my latest SAK since it’s just  Victorinox returning it after repair but here you go.

My Champion back home again.

Forgot to add that Victorinox received my broke Champ on the 17th of February.

It got back to me in Michigan today the 10th of March.

For those wondering about current turn around time for warranty repairs.

I don’t think they actually took any money for the repair. I had a $20 limit set but never saw a withdrawal.

So I checked and they did indeed take $5.30 out of my bank account.

I assume to cover shipping.

So another not technically new tool but put the pocket clip on my butter blade Spirit.

What a game changer. Just the right amount of tension and the Spirit is a tool that is thin enough to almost disappear in the pocket.

Very much looking forward to a month where I can 30 day challenge this beast. Maybe May since next month is Swisschamp goodness.
