New SAK on ice. Just got this 91mm Golfer? Pen but no pin.

Probably because it was made before Victorinox started adding the pin to the 91 mm scales. See the screw on the scissors, the grooved corkscrew, etc.

SakWiki lists one like it:

http://www.sakwiki.com/tiki-index.php?page=Golfer+91mm:

"The addition of the Ball Point Pen was made without adding the Straight Pin as seen in this photo."

Not really sure where to make this post. However most of this is sak based.  I received lots of new cocobolo wood for making sak scales as you can see two already done.

Also got a good deal on the hunter and what I believe is a old traveller. More about the traveller later.

Also shown is a surefire flashlight and a core I got a deal on from a local army surplus liked to core as it is genuine army surplus.

Ok back to the traveller.  It has seen deter days, really not sure what they did to the scales.  Anyway it has the old style corkscrew, awl and scissors (with screw pivot).
I suppose the questions I have are did they ever make the bottle opener without the 90 stop? As this on doesn't have on.
Also shown below is the tang stamp. Does this fit with the time period?
Thanks for any responses.

Just in from Holland - Finally! Took the combined efforts of the post office and Customs two months to get them here. However a great looking bunch of knifes and worth the wait.

Vic Holland Climbers.

Cool Climbers, I've got a similar Eiffel Tower Spartan  :tu:.
- Or was I too preoccupied with other thoughts, like: if toast always lands jam side down, and a cat always lands on its feet, what happens when you strap a piece of toast, jam side up, to the back of a cat?

The trucks just pulled into my driveway! The police are upset because the convoy
is blocking the road. Oh well, I can dream can't I?  I guess 30 SAKs makes
you a collector? (Not to mention all those in the trucks :-)

Those are pretty nice; after 2 months I would have given up on them.  Great to know you got them, I think someone in Customs took a fancy to them.

Ross, the Holland knives came from 'The Old Man' in Amsterdam.

http://hardware.theoldman.com/index.php?module=shop&shopID=2&buttonID=53&on_sale=0&categoryID=24&manufacturerID=102&pricefilter_value=0&skip=12

Guy, There are a half-dozen of the French knives available.

http://www.prixcanon.fr/42-victorinox?p=2

Reinier, That's something you need to take up with 'The Old Man' or Victorinox. I'm open for another set.

Francis, Was originally shipped to my home address, and returned to the dealer because the PO couldn't find it (they have no problem delivering junk mail). Then shipped to my PO box. Customs instead sent it out to San Francisco (why?) and sat on it for a month.

I have a couple of the Danish alox on order. The Danish post office says they've been forwarded; the US post office says that they haven't been mailed yet. Lost in a black hole over the North Atlantic.  I though hobbies were supposed to be relaxing.
