I hope it only comes in threes.

So 2 weeks ago I was driving down to my sister's house, and got a speeding ticket- first one in over six years.


Last Monday I hit a deer driving to work- first insurance claim in almost ten years.


Today, driving home from work, I spun out in the rain and mowed over a road sign-- sideways:






And tomorrow is Friday the 13th.  Maybe I will just stay in bed all day.

Might not be a bad idea... damn man, that sucks.  Your insurance agent is gonna LOVE you!

Good to hear that you seem to be ok though.  You can pull dents, but head injuries are a little more involved.

I'm feeling a little stiff, and a few small cuts but fortunately nothing serious.  Only one car stopped to see if I was OK in the 45 minutes it took for the tow truck to arrive.

Not the way I expected to get another truck!

You have to love modern day good Samaritans.  I always stop for folks at the side of the road, although with cell phones as common as they are these days, it's rare that anyone actually needs any help.

Too bad the truck is a write off- it doesn't look that old?

Agree with Def have to admire and love modern day good samaritans, it take not only kindness but guts to stop and help total strangers in these times  :salute:

I just talked to the insurance lady.  We are assuming it's a write off ('97 trucks aren't worth ~$4500 of repair).
