Just something about ripping opening a perfectly good PP3 battery to get at some 'free batteries' doesn't appeal to me I definitely wouldn't use them in any expensive gear I had either Eneloops all the way
I've heard not all 9V's will work, most have a bunch of the AAAA's but some (cheap off-brands I believe) will just be filled with acid/goop.

Absolutely no use whatsoever if what you need is some AAAA.
It depends on the brand; some 9V will contain AAAA, while some AA (or is it AAA?) contain button cells. It's screwy. XD
For those in the UK, Wilkinsons own brand are made from AAAAs. Or at least they were last time I ripped one open.Quote from: Sazabi on August 26, 2010, 09:04:29 PMIt depends on the brand; some 9V will contain AAAA, while some AA (or is it AAA?) contain button cells. I saw a video of it being done with an Energizer, so I imagine if stick with that you should be fine.
