My introduction,
Found this site while researching what pentalobe bit I need to replace the large screwdriver on my wave.
I've been packing this gem daily for 6 years now.
I've been in residential construction, mostly remodel, for over 30 years and the Wave is probably the most useful and most used tool I own, I use it pretty much daily.

Hi!

I'm Oscar and I have had a craving for multi tools and pocket knifes ever since I got my first one when I was a little kid. I really like to always have a tool on me and be ready for anything.

My favourite tools are the Victorinox Pioneer and the Leatherman Charge+.  :multi: :climber:

Hello to my fellow Tool Enthusiasts

My introduction: 

My first multi-tool would have to be a scout knife I received around 1970 with a fork and a spoon, a bottle opener, and of course the blade while in Boy Scouts.
Later I graduated up to Swiss Army knives ( loved the little scissors ). My first pliers  type multi tool was a Gerber as I liked the out the end deployment.
It wasn't too long afterwords I discovered Leatherman and found their quality to be much better ( in my opinion ) as well as their product developments.
I'm a retired journeyman machinist (40+ years) and use my multi tools on a daily basis. Now I drive a school bus to get myself out of the house.
I have lurked on this site off and on  and thought why not register.  So here I am.

Hello All, after lurking I decided to register because you guys are some of the nicest, well written, useful, and concise forum participants I've ever read. I'm a multitool fan via an old school uncle with a Victorinox obsession. Short jump to a multitool as an EDC for work. Because I have small hands and prefer a specific type pocket carry I'm constantly on the lookout for the perfect tool. I could mod one, but the hunt is more fun. I've owned all the major headliners and currently carry a PST II, unsheathed, that I found new, unscathed, at a thrift store for 3 bucks! Thanks for all the knowledge and courtesy!

Howdy y’all!
 Been lurking here for awhile, enjoy the site! 
I live in Texas, and bought my first multitool in the early 90’s.  That was a PST i got at REI in Dallas.  Still have it, used it heavily, but have not carried it for years. 
Next tool was a sidekick.  Carried it awhile, clipped in my back pocket.  The springs that hold it shut(the spring loaded pliers) broke, and it sat at home.  So searching for a way to fix it, I stumbled upon this excellent site!
Y’all inspired me, and my next tool was a rebar, probably my favorite tool, and have acquired several (lots) of tools, mostly on ebay.
I also discovered multitools could be modded, and got the wrenches to disassemble leathermans.
Now I need to set up an account on a pic hosting site.  Any recommendations?

Hi all, after years of searching for the "perfect" multitool, I finally pulled the trigger on an LM Wave+ after seeing the great mods on this forum. Might not be my perfect EDC just yet, but it seems to be the perfect foundation to customise to my needs/wants!
