Another use for SAKs
on: October 23, 2010, 09:56:36 PM
I found another use for my Rambler: flashlight stand. My E01 wouldn't stand on carpet, but on the Rambler it worked fine.

:o  But what if you need to use the rambler whilst tail standing your light   :o

Here's an improved version offering a wider base and greater stability involving a 2p coin.

:pok: No cheaping out and using a penny; not really wide enough and it'll all go horribly wrong  :ahhh

OK, seriously for half a second :D  What's the diffuser, chap stick lid?

I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

Oh great you show us a WONDERFUL solution to the stable base situation (we have all suffered from)
and then you tell us Americans not to use a PENNY and go on to even saying and I quote, "and it'll all go horribly wrong."

What are we to do, :ahhh  we don't have 2p coins here :pok: ::)

Which brings me to my new business venture ....

For only £5 including postage :tu: :tu: :tu: I will be happy to send this superb British torch stabiliser to any corner of the planet ;)

Remember postage is included  :o

Why not take advantage of the special introductory offer of two YES TWO 2p coins for the price of one.

May even come in special British packing paper :P

Ohhh, such a tempting offer, Neil, but unfortunately my Led Lenser P3 can't tail-stand, so I guess I'll skip. :P :D

Yep. And you can cut off the top of the chapstick tube to make a holder for the lid.

Sneaky :tu:

I don't use it myself but we are approaching the time of year when my wife gets through plenty.  I'll have to remind her to not throw the empties away.
