Yep, it was pretty quiet here all day, I noticed that too.

I didn't have to go to work today so I thought I'd have plenty to read here ... $:-\$
Anyway, used the free time to do some searching on the net (and to make some phonecalls) to find the best deal on my next multitool, and I'm going to place my order tomorrow ...

I've been thinking about buying a new tool for a very long time now, thought about a Surge, then saw a Charge TTi in the local shop ... and at the end went for something completely different (same brand though).

Sorry gents, I was trying to get a few things done around here before Old Man Winter arrives.

A few nights ago a friend of mine came over to put new footrests in his kayak, which is stored in my garage. We were having a couple of drinks while working, and his boat, a 14 foot tandem kayak was sitting on a couple of folding sawhorses. One of my tenants was out letting his dogs take care of business, and his pitbull, Cally, got under the boat and knocked one of the sawhorses over. The boat came crashing down, and Cally broke the sound barrier trying to get away. Fortunately the only damage done was the death of my poor beer which was sitting in the boat when it fell.

So, long story short, while working in the garage today, one of my tasks was to pull that boat out and clean out the old beer. That took a while- it's a hell of a thing to manhandle a boat like that around by yourself!

Well,

Had to go to the Ducati dealership for a serious warranty issue (Serious $$-wise). Got the ok for a free replacement fuel tank. So, now I wait for Ducati NA to ship a tank. Mid 70's today and the round trip was about 120 miles.

Then, a frustrating evening putting together poorly made Ikea products (I doubt it was manufactured in Sweden...

)

Almost midnight, and finally done for the day.

Was on holidays for a week, with almost no internet access. We used to have wlan in our holiday flat, but they have changed the access data and it's not open anymore. I had to go to the neighbours farm where they have free internet access for people on holiday there. We stay there quite often so no problem with using it

But you don't read the forums and all that stuff if you have to go outside for internet access

Last night I went to the pub and ended up walking the four miles home in the small hours. Nice night for it but the hill at the end made me ache $:-\$
