To be honest I think you'd be better of with a 2xAA/CR123 torch for self defence, as it gives you a few more options (blinding, impact, and restraining all being possible), plus is completely justifiable whereas a baton won't be
Get one of these and get it nice and sharp (Image removed from quote.)
That assault defence crown is just... deadly.
Thanks for the replies. All kind of harmfull spray is ilegal in denmark and classified as a weapon aswell. I dont realy trust them either since I read quite alot of people say they dont work on drunk or high people. Blunt force trauma always does I would asume There isnt alot of concerts here where you get searched, not the ones I go to atleast 100-300 people normally. And I could always keep it on the bicycle or throw it in a bush. I dont worry about getting in a fight at a concert, its mostly when going home. Else I can always stuff it down my ten-hole boot, 99% of the time its only the torso and upper legs which get searched.I have looked a bit at tactical pens but I almost never use a pen (My hand-writing sucks) And I think they are too thin to get a good grip on, espescially with gloves. I wouldnt use a pen or flashlight for pressure points since I'm not trained in that. But rather several fast jabs at the upper chest, ribs, collarbone, and forehead. Followed by a few kicks to the knees with steel-toes
Oh yeah- the best stick I have is a 6C Mag Light named Wilma. She's outfitted with an LED bulb, pennies in the tailcap and batteries wrapped in paper. She also wears a trumble stop (large rubber ring) about 5 inches down from the head, which makes her easy to grab in an instant, and turns her into quite the weapon. Plus, she's a light, and therefore, despite the fact that she's obviously outfitted for combat, she's considered acceptable in almost every environment. Def
Not that any of this helps find a baton in Berlin though...
When it came to my tool box filling up (my waist is only so big) I opted for Taser and OC over the baton....along with all the other stuff.
