New, non-Victorinox DAK
on: November 12, 2010, 03:38:53 PM
Found this image of a non-Victorinox, new style GAK with a OH opening main blade, but a normal opening 'belt cutter' blade. Posts say that  its made by a company called Zwanenburg.....interesting :)

Interesting   We need someone to track one down and get tang pictures.
I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

anyone know how to get hold of one of the Vic DAKs with dual pro tool layout (two OH blades)? I would have thought they'd turn up just once on german ebay.

They pop up on a Dutch auction site once in while ;)

By the way, I looked at a Van Zwanenburg DAK (the one featured here a couple of days ago, and I was shocked about its poor quality... it's a shame that our military chose the Van Zwanenburg knives over Victorinox :(
You should seriously visit vicfan.com. All the hoopy froods are doing it.

I owned a Van Zwanenburg DAK for a while but sold it. Compared to the Victorinox DAK's they're poor quality IMO.
