Becker Neckers Bk11, Bk14
on: January 11, 2011, 05:02:12 AM
I've been rocking the bk11 for 4 months now and wehn i saw the bk14 i thought, ' Yes the beckers blade on izulas body! Thats perfect right? Everyone says the izula handles are more comfortable than the Bk11 but they prefer the becker blade.'  (actually originally i wanted a bk13 remora but the steel thing turned me off as an everyday thing, but i might get one for my tool roll)

Well i  got the bk14 in the mail today and  :td:. Put it simply i touch the handle and then decided ' nah! back on ebay you go' It didn't feel good at all, and i don't have big hands either.

I think the curved shape of the izulas spine might make that handle more usable with its original blade shape. (i might eventually get one)

So now i'm going to go for a Swamprat Warden... cept i haven't found one swamprat on ebay today  ??? ? (any model)

Any random input appreciated

Have you think about a Fällkniven WM1? Longer and thicker handle then Izula and Becker...

I've got a Necker and it's not especially comfortable either :-\

You can't go wrong with any Falkniven though :tu:

i'd like to apoligise for the rambling nature of my previous post... i was tired but still was wanting to share my findings.

i really don't mind the feel of the Bk11, eventually i was going to make some thin micarta scales for it.

But you see i now have this money that i'm going to get back from the bk14.... So i must spend it  >:D
