Good aren't they? :tu:  I still think they've got some of the best screwdrivers to be found on a keyring MT.

G'Day,

Got myself a few during the week. I love the anodized ones, but they don't fit in the normal sheath. Off to do some sheath-making I am.

My wife gave a Leatherman MICRA as a Christmas gift almost 20 years ago together with a six pack of Santa's Cokes. Still have the "dusty" six pack and also the tool but the scissors need to be re-sharpened. I remember thinking of opening one of the bottles to try the the bottle opener but decided to go for a bottle of beer instead :)

Hello! May I join you?

I've had my Micra for years, and it's THE ONE leatherman that never ever leaves my side. I switch between many plier based tools for different brands, but the Micra is my go-to scissor based platform.

I prefer it over the Squirt, and any of the other MT's scissors.

Thanks!
My toys:

MTs: Surge (2x), Skeletool CX, Rebar, Blast, Fuse, Micra, Squirt (3x), Wave, Crunch, Mini, Spirit (2x), Pro Scout, MP700 (2x), Diesel, Powerlock, PowerPlier (2x), PocketPowerPlier, Blacktip , ST6 (2x), 5WR, A100

SAKs: Bantam, Executive, Ambassador, Minichamp, Classic Alox, Champion, Farmer, Explorer, Swisschamp, Golf Tool, Wenger Champ, EVO 52, Pocket Tool Chest

Hope to be joining the club soon!  My son asked me what I wanted for my birthday, and I said a Micra would do nicely! :D

A great little tool. Kinda like Maggie.

I am sure you will like it and wait with baited breath for the pictures.

I can't believe how compact it is.  I held it up next to my Classic and there's not a whole lot of difference between them at all!

I became Micra owner last fall (2015).  Introduced to this handy tool by a younger co-worker.  Since, it has saved me countless steps to pick up a small screwdriver for repairing connectors.  The small blade sees as much action as the great scissors...

I really miss mine. Can't beat the scissors and the drivers are darn handy as well..
I knew my wife was a keeper when she transitioned from calling it a knife thingy to a multi-tool.

I really don't think the Micra's drivers get the credit and attention that they deserve.  Certainly the best I've ever used on a keyring sized tool and a lot better than some I've used on some full sized tools as well.

I have a few Micra's, certainly more than necessary for personal consumption,  but all are loved. Yes, they are TSA rescues. This Blue one 10-99 is a favorite of my Sea Catch, almost inseparable. Other than colors, is there a time line of the different models? My Blue Anodized 02-02, Green Paint 02-00,  Bright Stainless 09-96. Seems the rectangular side notch is an earlier variation.

If only it had a pocket clip so it could be used as a key dangler.

That's a cracking idea mate. :hatsoff:  I'd love to see LM add that as a feature.

Right?

It is sad but ever since Robert added a pocket clip to this all the rest of my keychain tools have been collecting dust.

I'm confused.
My Micra was received with a key ring just like my SAKs.
Removed the ring and folded the dangler fitting into the frame.
Here is picture of the dangler hole -
