I feel sad to be transferred

Just received my travel order. I have to report to a different district of my office on Monday. No  nearby malls, no friends or acquaintances, a totally different place with scores of shanties around. The worst part is it'll take 4-5 hrs. of my time to and fro just for the daily travel by bus alone. Oh well that is life!
(I owe I owe so off to work I go)

I hope you have a good mp3 player or some good books to read  :think: :think:.
Is there a chance you could get a transfer to a closer office down the track  :think: :think:

Sooner or later buddy, I'll request for a transfer nearby my place. For the moment there's nothing I can do but to follow orders from my big lady boss who is the Commissioner of Internal Revenue.(Why are lady bosses stubborn, hardheaded and fickle minded?  :think:)

Mate you have not met my manager, we have taken to calling her 'The Mad Hatter' nutter than a squirrel she is  :ahhh :ahhh.

4-5 hours of travel a day?  I've done that, it makes for some very long days!

Is getting a motorcycle or car a possibility?

Hello Gene!

It's just a matter of adjustment, Gene. Anyway it's only temporary assignment.

Right after college I worked there in Manila for about a year and a half and I can't adjust to the fast pace. That's the reason I went home. Here in the province it only takes me  minnutes to go to my place of work.

I do have a car, boss but a liter of gasoline costs a lot here in the Philippines.

That is bad news. You are going to spend way too much time getting there and back. I hope it is for a very short time.
