I finally got an iPhone 4 32GB
on:

Last week I took my little brother fishing on a dock near where we live. After about an hour I dropped my Sony Ericcson cell phone into the water. Needless to say, it was shot. I looked on the AT&T web page for a replacement, but could not find one that suited me. I was due for an upgrade, so I had some pretty good prices thrown at me for various phones.
My brother has an iPhone 4 that he loves. He talks about all it can do to make his job much easier (he's an attorney, so he deals with a lot of email traffic). Anyway, after a few days of contemplation, I decided to get an iPhone, too.
That thing is so cool! Now if I were only a lawyer...

I seriously considered an iPhone 4- in fact it was the front runner in my mind until I saw the Atrix and started reading about it. Given the difference in battery life I still occasionally think I'd have been better off with the iPhone but I made my choice.
I'm looking forward to reading your thoughts on it though so be sure to keep us updated!

I've got the 3gs and absolutely love it. I don't know how I functioned before getting it. (sort of like not knowing how I survived before the internet!)
Planning on upgrading to the newest iPhone in January. (when my current contract is up)
You planning on jailbreaking it? I've done it to mine, and am not all that impressed... but then I may just not know how to use it

Just got the same iP4 as you, loving it so far. It was an upgrade from the 3G so the compass, speed and multitasking improvements are great for me!
I'm a fan generally of good gadgets, and I'm not an Apple fangirl per se, but this is a very good tool to have in your pocket

So far I love mine. The problem I am dealing with now is that I don't have a wireless computer, therefore not wifi. I live in the sticks and sometimes (most of the time) I can't even get use of the data packet you have to pay for with ATT. I get my internet from Time Warner through earthlink, so I have a router that is hard wired to my computer. I have been to Wally World and purchased a Cisco linksys e3200 and an adapter, but for the life of me I can't get it to work. I returned all the stuff to Wally World, and my next step is to go to Radio Shack and get them to help me.
I build houses and work with wood, so this is a difficult thing for me. Wish me luck.

I just picked up an I4 16gb, and I'm in heaven. I have had blackberries and android phones(droids are actually pretty cool too), but I love this thing. I'm blown away by the raw functionality within the OS. It just works. My 3g signal in my house is pretty low, so I have to use wifi inside, but boy howdy that wifi is like lightening! Do get a good wireless router, it will seriously make your day with your iphone. It is hard to get the iphone to connect, but there are many forums to help you. Good luck!

I was allways fan of NOKIA branded phones (smart phones), but now I'm getting Samsung Galaxy Mini as my first Android.
Iphones are way cool, but pricey for my pocket... Not that I wouldn't buy one if I have funds...

They make a wireless router that you buy plug in wires, turn on and done! That's for the tech deficient peeps out there
. Me I have the iPhone4 16g jailbroke and unlocked. This thing rocks.
If I remember correctly, wait, what was I saying?

The difficult we do immediately, the impossible takes a little longer.

Sadly I'm likely to drop and break mine so it lives in something sensible.... that really does rock though!

Nothing, absolutely nothing can beat the user-experience (or user-interface) of an Apple device. Android may be cool OS, but it cannot be seen in the public - the half-eaten apple can. ;-) I have been using the iPhone 4 for two weeks now, and it has the best user experience. Period. So those who can afford (not that I can - this one is company given!), go for it. I hear iOS 5 beta is available for early-adopters now.

Well, I have been fortunate enought to be able to spend some time in Hilton Head (Sea Pines), and am just getting back and settled in. My brother (the one with the iPhone) was there as well, so we were able to sit and play with our iPhones like two little kids! I got to learn a lot about it (my brother has a pretty good understanding of the technical side of it). All I can say is that it is an incredible piece of technology. Now I will let this thread rest in peace.

I have had my Iphone 4 for about 4 months and quite simply, I think it is amazing.
I have owned many different handsets over the years from many different manufacturers and I have always found niggles with each. With my Iphone I havent found a single thing that I dislike. It just - works!
IOS-5 is out soon so keep a look out. Loads of new features and tweeks that are apparently really good.
I'm back!!
