Guess what!

My girlfriend seems to be pregnant. I say "seems to be", because the home tests are positive, but she has not seen the doctor yet, so it is "just" 99%. She does not want me to tell family and friends now, for she wants to surprise them, but I just have to tell someone, so why not sharing my luck with my MT buddies?

It is my first child ( my girlfriemds has an 10yo boy already), and I can not tell you how happy I am right now. A little scared too, but I guess that is fine

From now on, I can start to build a little "collection" of EDC for my firstborn, and hell, I swear: This will be the best equipped child you can imagine

I feel relief to have told someone, even if I "just" did it online. This is a secret too sweet not to share

Congratulations! My buddy and his wife just had their first...and second....and third (!) on Monday! They're all coming home from the hospital today. When it comes to triplets, they certainly do make a tool for that: it's called a bottle opener

Congrats..Your correct there is no MT tht prepares One for Fatherhood,they do however help deal with a whole new range of Life's Little Emergencies and with putting together a ton of toys..Fatherhood is a Trail and Error Proposistion when it gets right down to it..Use a bit of Common Sense,pinch of compassion,a dash of Patience,and a heaping cup of Love and Stir...Don't hesitate to ask questions of those you know who have "Gone and Done" but go with your gut..The Child and Responsibilty is your's and your's alone..

I guess if I share great news, it is just fair to share bad news too.

Some of you might have realized I went quite silent here, and here is why: She lost it. Four weeks ago, so I we had some time to deal with it. We are OK, it´s a bummer, but there are no physological reasons so we can try again. We still want a baby, so comes time...

Anyways, I feel much better now and so I will be more active here, and on my blog again.
