Ugh. 17 years. Bruins played well, especially Thomas. Lou, not so great. The team in general was not great. Sigh.

Luongo played fine, but there was no team in front of him. The Bruins were too big, too strong, and Vigneault's idea of constantly throwing bodychecks against the defense wasn't a great idea.

Congrats Bruins, you deserved that series. The Canucks ran out of gas when it counted.

The Canucks played sloppy throughout the entire playoffs. I've never seen so many missed passes and turnovers made by one team in the playoffs before. They held in as long as they could because Luongo is a great goalie, even if he's a jackass on Twitter. There was no excuse for that IMHO.

By the same token, it may have been a closer series had Thomas not been replaced by a hockey programmed Terminator! To Hades with the cup, that man should get a harem of gold plated supermodels as a reward for playing as well as he did- it was inhuman how good he was.

Still, as a hockey fan, I was just glad that it went to Game 7 since I managed to maximize my entertainment factor!
