Looking at Bear and Sons 2020 catalog; I found this model, the 209 Aluminum Slipjoint.  $20, with only $5 shipping. I couldn't pass it up for that price and ordered it direct from them. Hopefully, I won't get a reject. That's all Amazon seems to have from them.

2.5" closed, 1.5" blade; weight 1 ounce. Made in USA!!!

A NIP Ozark Trails Multiforce Premium multi tool. A great Wave clone.

A Gerber Armbar Drive in Onyx.  No idea when it will arrive as it is on pre-order in the UK so no delivery date as yet.

SirVicaLot has written quite a lot about it in the owners club thread in the Gerber sub forum

Nice pair  :like: :tu:

 :salute: :hatsoff:

The black one is possibly going to be lost as I'm going to put it in "carry on" on the next trip (to ITA) and see what happens  :ahhh

The missus got away with one (out/inbound) from UK-FRA in her handbag so, it may be a short lived affair, or not  :dunno:

The other one (French tricolour) will live on the keyring for the appt in Nice, as it seems appropriate

Anyone know where I can buy other such tricolour/flag type SAK's (of any sort) from within the UK (given our messed up import restrictions etc..)

Cheers

2008 M1961 Soldier. Last year they were made.  As I prep for the Soldier challenge coming later this year, I figure I'll increase my spread of "issue" and military related SAKs. Next is the BO US Army Trekker/M2008 hybrid.

Next to go down; AMEFA DAK, 1996 Soldier (either Vic or Wenger), an M1908 with a little bit better blade than the trashed one on my 1942, and some more British  Army and Navy knives.

Getting ready to rebuild my "filler" Schrade USA ST-5E; which has many arc damaged and broken tools on it.  This is a factory leftover handle that contains the blade, chisel, saw, wirestripper, file, and can opener. I still have to buy a lot of random hardware I found that just so happens to include four sets of the proper female pins that hold it together (for the male pins, I can just use bar stock from any hardware store), and a lot of loose tools to get the reamer on the other handle (which is busted).

For $5, this isn't too much of a gamble. It will probably say "SCHRADE" and not "CRAFTSMAN" as I need. Guess I can always drill the pin out and put the tools in the old frame.  Really should have gotten two or three at this price for spare parts and modding (may take a standard Tough Tool, and swap its useless ruler/hook remover for the chisel). My plan for the latter is to move the file over to the ruler's side, and then put the chisel in the file's place so that it can be oriented as shown.

After seeing Adam use his heavily on the early seasons of Mythbusters, I have started carrying mine (a 1999) a lot more when there for a long time, I retired it after I bought a 2017 a couple years ago. Basically, the only thing I like about the Gen 2 Wave is that well, I can fit a pocket clip to it. The older one has sturdier scissors, a better build quality, and a better sheath (mine is nylon; got it after I bought the tool) than the second-gen.

Mine was a 99 as well, it was my first proper (branded) multitool and I bought it with my first paypacket on a new job. I lent it to a technician who was doing an event at night and got it back the next morning in two bits. The replacement wasn't quite as nice - it was a post USA one with smooth bolsters and slightly misaligned chassis. All in all, it just wasn't as classy as my original. When I think about the original, it really was a capable tool and (at that time)  I never really wanted for more... I was quite content with it.

Anyway, hopefully this one that I've scored will be (almost) as good as my old lovely one and I can reunite it with the original sheath that I've still got.

Not MTs, but now that I have some spare time on my hands due to Coronavirus; despite me being only online (my college extended spring break a week, and the teacher gave us a week off, and for now, cancelled all upcoming assignments), some other stuff.

A replacement memory card for my PlayStation 2. I lost the original recently in storage, and don't know how. I'd put it in an old carryon bag my folks kept for day trips, in a zippered compartment. It wasn't there.  Besides, it was only $6 and I hadn't gotten anywhere with the games I had on it, so really nothing that was that important. Now to find my LEGO Star Wars game that wasn't in the disk holder.

And this little Atari Game, made by Super Impulse. Tech has become cheaper and cheaper. This thing runs on a rechargeable battery (uses a MicroUSB port), full-color display, credit-card sized and is Arduino based and only $15. I paid that as a kid not 10-12 years ago for simple LCD games that ran on AA batteries.  My phone won't run games; but even if I upgrade, games run batteries down bad. There are several others they have produced--I wish the tech could get better to where these could hold 4-5 games. I guess they could, for a little more money.  I already have my Dad's old 2600 (could never get it working) and an emulator that plugs into my TV (and offers most of the classic Atari titles; except the tank game and Space Invaders, which are my two favorites), but I can't really tote those around.  I chose Missile Command, as on my TV-based emulator, I've never figured it out.
