I do like a good sandwich, lots of meat in and some cheese, a bit of that green stuff, maybe some ketchup depending on the meat but the most important thing is good bread. Can't have a decent sandwich without good bread.

I'm spoilt at home, we have a bread making machine so there's always fresh tasty bread around. we're down to less than 80 posts left now!

My favorite is a Pastrami and Swiss sub sandwich. Maybe with some spicy mustard. I think Swiss cheese is awesome (maybe due to my nationality)!

I respectfully disagree- as important as the bread is, and I certainly don't want to take anything away from it, I can't help but feel that the cheese is the most important thing.  The sandwich I am working my way through right now is chicken, ham, pastrami and beef on a kaiser roll with a slice of jalapeno havarti and a small amount of mayo.

Darned good...  I may even have another!

Mouldy bread really destroys a sandwich though, you can't just cut the mouldy bit off as the whole slice will still taste "funky" whereas with cheese the mould can be removed and it will still taste good!

Or you're a poor student and buy cheese in bulk so that even with a house of 4 eating at least 1 sandwich a day each are still not enough to eat the whole thing in a week and a bit that it takes cheese to go mouldy in this really damp house!

Pasta is a staple of our survival! As for supernoodles, i can't stand the things really, unless i'm out camping. I think my tastebuds shutdown when i'm out and about!

Well i can appreciate the workmanship in them, and they do seem very well made, they are just not my cup of tea. I would prefer a plain one, but if you're happy thats all that matters!
