Best multi for budget?

Hi everybody i need some advice!
I have just joined here so ya.
What is the BEST multi plier/tool available for under around.... 50 bucks or 55 bucks my budget is a BIT adjustable but i would really appreciate suggestions that fall into the 55 and below range

So ya hope you guys can help me out!

It doesn't have everything, but it can be organised to have what you want, and no more.

The Blast and PPP are indeed a good ones! But at $50, there are a number of other good ones too.  

Help us out a little...what do you plan on using it for? If work, what profession?

General every day use but i want it a little bit heavey duty. for also camping and stuff maybe.
So something thats not hugeley bulcky but still reliable and a powerful one...

If you shop around on E-bay and dont get in a hurry buying, you can get almost any tool for under fifty bucks pretty easy.

I would suggest a Wave.

I'm a Leatherman type of guy, and live and die by my Wave, but, I'm gonna have to recommend a Victorinox Spirit.  Don't they go for just under fifty dollars?

In that case, I still suggest a PPP. Maybe even a Powerlock if you can find one on eBay that's cheap enough.

Tough, utterly reliable with a bullet proof warrentee, and with a very comprehensive number of tools, but still compact enough to fit in your pocket if for some reason you don't like carrying it in its quality belt pouch.

I stand firm with the PPP or PL for what you do. If you take my suggestions, you can have almost 30 dollars to spend on accesories, or whatever else.

AS you probably have figured out by now, SOG is my favorite (sort of ironic, eh?). At first I thought the multitool was allright, but then I got a knife, and they compliment each other perfectly! And now, with the Powerassist, I can have the functions of a tool and the ease of an outside opening knife all in one!

 Looks like you've settled on Victorinox;and as to which is better quality...well just let me say that Victorinox is synonymous for quality. Some people see the profile and serrations on the knife blade as a negative,and also feel the scissors on the Spirit  aren't as big as they could be for a tool that size.If weight doesn't bother you,then go for the SwissTool X.

I have no idea what Wally World is - and I'm not including Online sales.

Anywhere selling cheaper than that must be doing something dodgy - there is only one Official Australian Importer of Leatherman products, and I deal directly with them.

If weight isn't an issue, then go for the Swisstool.  It is the flagship for many here as far as multitools go.
As for Nomad's question, Wally World = Walmart.

I'd say the Swisstool X is slightly better in everyway, but is quite a bit bigger and heavier, but if thats not an issue for ya then go for the X , either way your gona get an awesome tool

Swisstools are great.  For me weight is kind of a pointless thought.  The difference in weight between carrying a swisstool and say a Leatherman Wave is neglegible at best.  We are talking a few ounces here.  If this were a question of carrying an airweight snubby revolver or a .44 magnum steel powerhouse I would say there is more to be debated.

You cannot go wrong with any model swisstool.
