Give them another couple of years to develop it properly and I am certain you'll soon be seeing full fledged GPS units built into the scales!Def
Have you seen the Victorinox XAVT?http://www.sosakonline.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=201&Itemid=35In the scale it includes a clock (with alarms and date) barometer, altimeter, thermometer and a few other functions. The way Vic is going high tech and electronics are shrinking, I wouldn't be surprised if they managed it.Def
I've had pretty good luck with these:http://tinyurl.com/ywh8tm

It is, but the durn thing is locked up tight, and doesn't spin at all anymore.EDIT I just beat it against my hand and it freed up. It still seems to point accurately.

well this is just a little bit off topic-sidenote,BUT if theres anyone else who has stretched his earlobes with heavier cauge earrings, you better check out that the balls in the rings arent made out of neodymium magnets.i just noticed while i was playing with compass i got from Benner that the needle in it kind of followed my movements and i didnt have anything magnetic in me.then i lifted the compass to my eye level and the damn thing started to point in the middle of my face .i moved it a bit from side to side till i realised the needle points to my ears.i have 1 " diameter stainless piercing lobes in my ears, and thru them goes bcr piercing rings with these gun black captivity balls that were magnetic!.and i sure didnt know this before at all.so next time im goin to wood ill strip the rings off so i dont get lost
Go for it Mikko, that a good edc option
nope.i heard they have been there but i didnt find m at all from there.
