Here's an apple orchard I pass on the way to Wally World.

The apple blossoms are just about all dropped.

Here's some pics from Denver from a couple years ago.  Most are scenery, some animals from our little bike outing, and some from the aquarium in Denver.

This is at Red Rocks Amphitheater...I think it looks like that big worm from Empire Strikes Back

This is from the aquarium...no there's nothing wrong with my camera, they were in a blue lit tank

This just a view of a "river" in Waterton Canyon (I think that's what it's called)

View of Denver from Red Rocks...a bit hazy, but you get the idea

Green Eel

Grasshopper at Red Rocks...just playing with the camera

Kim + Scenery = Gorgeous!

Mountain Goat...he was literally right there, like 15 feet from us when came around a corner...awesome!

Big huge rock at Red Rocks

Red Rocks amphitheater

View from rest area along Waterton Canyon

We borrowed bikes from our friends out there so we stayed on the road, but it was breathtaking.  I love Colorado...mountains in WV don't look like that at all.  So beautiful.  I took so many pics of the rock formations and stuff because they are so different than what we have around here.  Granite vs Limestone and shale...beautiful.

I know what you mean...in my home state, West Virginia, the highest point is just under 5,000 feet above sea level.  That's just about 1500 feet above Colorado's lowest point!  And almost 10,000 ft below it's highest point!  Puts things in perspective.  :)
